Perfect weekend away the cabin was spotless clean and cozy couldn’t ask for anything better. Lovely surroundings with the sheep and goats rights outside our door and recommended spots to visit in 1 book which helped a ton. Owners are really lovely with complimentary stuff and fresh picked figs, very easy to talk to and was there to help if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this cabin and the location it is in.

We had such a lovely stay in the Shepherd’s Hut! It was exactly as pictured, so cosy, beautifully kept and the perfect little getaway. Mel and Michael were absolutely amazing hosts, so welcoming and friendly, and really made us feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful little escape. We’d happily come back!

We were warmly welcomed by Mel, shown around the lodge and introduced to the goats and sheep.
This is everything we want from a short stay Airbnb. A space away from busy lives to relax in the countryside with only the irregular sound of a passing car.
We sat for hours in the peaceful seating area, watching the goats, sheep, squirrels and birds.
While compact, the lodge is spacious for 2 people and it’s clear to see how much thought and effort has gone into creating it. Along with a comfy bed and all the amenities you need in the kitchen. There’s 2 seating areas, a fantastic view, goats and sheep to watch, herbs planted outside and a fire pit space to add to the experience.
Mel was so kind to leave us hot chocolate, marshmallows and squirty cream!
Of all the Airbnb’s I’ve been to on people’s home property this was the most private, well thought out, comfortable and peaceful space we have been to.
We will be back so I can try out the fire pit.
